In January of 1996, the Rogers left their home in Tulsa, OK to follow the Lord's steady call to Mexico City. Ministry in Mexico began in their home as a handful of people gathered with them weekly to hear teachings from the World of God. From their humble beginnings, the Lord has been faithful in his promise to add to the church daily those who are being saved.
Throughout the years, there have been trials, struggles, mountains, and valleys, but God has continually made a way for Rhema Mexico even when there seemed to be no visible route.
The number of salvations, healings, and lives changed through Rhema Mexico over the last decade is overwhelming.
This upcoming year is a time of quantum growthfor Rhema Mexico/Tim Rogers Ministries.
The Training Center is now in its seventh year with over 100 students, 11 of whom are senior Pastors, andRhema Bible Church Mexico is now in its tenth year and has doubled in size since last year.
In May 2003 the church went to two services on Sunday which consistently ran at 80% capacity.
Then, in January 2007, the church increased to three services and has filled all three!Our average Sunday morning attendance is 650.
Additionally, Rhema Bible Church holds a Thursday evening service and a Saturday Night Live Youth Service serving over 100 young people weekly.
The Church building is maxed out! Since 2003 the church has doubled from 250 to 500, in attendance on an average Sunday morning. And in the last three years it has steadily grown to 650.
The Church has run out of space to grow, we have leveled off and now more than ever we must move!We've re-configured the auditorium, purchased more chairs, and yet we continue to run out of space.
Rhema Bible Church has proven extremely fruitful. It has outgrown every facility it has meet in, including the one it resides in right now. In the next year, the church is believing to raise enough money to purchase and remodel a building to provide a state of the art Family Worship and Bible Training Center, the likes of which do not exist in Mexico City... yet!
